Came here on the recommendation from the Running store across the street. I’m definitely not a vegan or a vegetarian... All I can say is wow! The food was amazing, the atmosphere and the employees were just the cherry on the TOP.
I came back 2 weeks later and again was as happy as I was the first time!
I had to beet burger and their sushi.. I interacted with four different employees two each trip and they were so amazingly friendly and helpful with suggestions.
I’ve had friends that are vegans try to convince me with their favorite places to eat and I can think of only one other place that I would even go back to. But The Village restaurant has me wanting to come back to try different things!

Great place to have 100% whole food plant-based vegan cuisine! Everything about this hidden gem was off the charts incredible. Be sure to try the WFPB cheesecake. Sublime! Seats are the only issue, being a bit uncomfortable but the food and service more than make up for it. Either Mexican or Japanese cuisine is available in yummy vegan dishes. Check it out!!

It is a modern place where it looks like neither Mexican nor Japanese, but I don’t think they claim to be even though they offer dishes from both cuisines. From the two dishes we tried - fish tacos and chimichanga, I think I am impressed mostly by the deep fried coconut interpretation as a substitute for fish in tacos. That originality along with good service however could not immediately translate to great flavours for everyone. While the fish tacos tasted like fish tacos with a slight sweetness (coconut), I think the chimichanga mostly relied on the thin sauce put outside rather than the marinade or any other flavoring of the ingredients. It is not bad by any means, maybe I am spoiled by our home cooking so I don’t want to be unfair by setting my expectations too high. It is a nice, clean restaurant with tons of options, and we can always use more plant-based establishments like this one.

So I’m an avid meat eater but I’m always up for trying new things. This place is soooooooo delicious, you don’t even miss the meat. The flavors of the food is spot on with the real deal. I love how everything is real plant based. They don’t use any of that highly processed fake meat substitute stuff. Place is bright and airy inside & great service. Highly recommend. Pictured in my review is the tropical roll, Wet Tostadas& Karne Asada Fries

What a pleasant surprise on a Friday night. Live music, awesome food, incredible service. This place is not to be missed. You have your choice of Japanese vegan flare for Mexican vegan. You cannot tell but this is all plant-based. Highly recommend you visit this location and take friends to enjoy all this goodness.
