We stopped here for a dinner during a trip to San Diego.
The customer service was great & it’s the main reason why I’m giving it a 5-star review.

The food was good too, especially the burrito, and prices are fair.

On the negative side, I would say that the menu is way too big. They have almost everything you can think of. From sushi, to burritos, from burgers to Pad Thai. This makes it harder to decide and to know what they are good at (it’s unlikely that they can make everything equally well).

Another point of feedback would be about the juices. We had a kombucha and the Kefir Soda and both were so so. Next time I will surely order different drinks.

Good experience overall but there are some improvement opportunities.

This is the first time since the pandemic and their remodel that we ate here. We have been eating here for years. The items in their menu have changed, and we were disappointed that our favorite dishes were no longer on the menu. The dishes that we ordered was ok but not as tasty and delicious as the dishes we had previously. My daughter ordered the “spicy chacha”. She didn’t like it since the pieces looked and tasted like shrimp. She doesn’t like shrimp. She ended up eating my order. The service was good.

This place is a delicious heaven for vegan people. I am not vegan but I have to say their foods are delicious. I ordered a Cha Cha and my friend ordered a bowl of ramen, both of our foods are very yummy. I think my Cha Cha’s texture is very similar to the real shrimps but a little more chewy. The flavor how they cook is very flavorful. We also tried their famous Pandan cake, it is soooooo good! I highly recommend it. It tastes like some cakes I had when I was a kid, which brings back a lot of sweet memories.

My Le 5/5

Been to Loving Hut for years and other locations across the country. Each one is different and unique to the area. For example, I couldn’t get Cali burrito in Orlando.

My favorites are Cali burrito, cha cha fried rice, loving strips and spam musubi. It tastes like the real deal! The trick is to eat it while it’s still warm. As it gets cold, you’ll taste the soy and chewiness.

Addendum: I came back last week 1/13/22 and the service had vastly improved.
First time back in a few years and the place has been totally revamped and also the menu is completely different. That said, the waitress completely ignored me as I came a little early before the rest of my party. I thought at least they would offer me some water eventually I flag the hostess down and she was surprised that I haven’t been served. The food was plentiful and delicious. I ordered the steak tacos with a side order of garlic fries, barely tasted the garlic. The other orders were chicken club and the impossible burger. It seemed like the only time we got attention was when it was time to pay the bill. I was surprised the only salad on the menu was a Caesar salad many of my favorite salad items on the original menu were gone, disappointing. However if you are a vegan it’s a good choice for North County.
