Just happened across this cute little place wandering around. Had some amazing gluten free options for my wife. She had the Berry tart that she said was amazing. Staff had some helpful tips on where we could find some shopping. Coffee was excellent as well. Good luck on your first day Felicia!!

I am still dreaming about my wedding cake from Hazel and Jade!!!! I wanted a vegan wedding cake that my guests wouldn’t be able to notice any difference, and H&J delivered. We went with a 2tier wedding cake (bottom being foam) and then had a few sheet cakes of different flavors for my guests. I would recommend this route for anyone looking to save some $$ and also to make things much easier on catering team ☺️ We had the strawberry cake, the rainbow sprinkle, and the Gf Chocolate. They were all so delicious, I can’t tell you how many compliments I got. Thank you again for making my wedding cake something to remember.

I have been enjoying Hazel and Jade since they opened. All their pastries are delicious (I love the croissants, coffee cake, danishes). Last night my friend brought one of their little cakes (chocolate) to a party and wowie zowie!!! Chocolate cake is probably one of my least favorite cakes, as I typically go for white fruity styles more but this cake was unreal! Super moist, so so delicious! Everyone there (me being the only vegan) said it was the best chocolate cake they ever had. Truly remarkable. So do yourself a favor, order and little cake and then pick out a few pastries from the case!

Wanted to check this place out , so I got a almond croissant 🥐 it was a good size for the price I really enjoyed it and boyfriend really liked it , unfortunately we didn’t have much time to try some of their other items but we will definitely try some more when we visit San Diego again !

They made our wedding cake and it was amazing. We had a 2 tier and then a sheet cake to feed our guests. They were responsive, professional and everyone loved the cake!
