El Jardin the Vegan Paradise

Really great food! I always order the California burrito and it never misses. Hits the spot every time. So glad to have a vegan spot within walking distance from my house.

Great food, fast service, huge menu with a large variety of great options. I used to live in ocean beach and loved going to litickers. I was pleasantly surprised when I drove by this place and remarked on how their signage and menus seemed similar . Then the litickers cook came out and took my order. I was pumped!

DELICIOUS! Visiting a friend in San Diego. I’ve always wanted to try birria, but it has been difficult to find vegan options. So glad I tried El Jardín. Will definitely do it again.

Please know that although the name states it’s a vegan paradise, it’s not just vegan food.
So if you order online make sure to specify you want vegan otherwise the first option on the online menu is regular non vegan.
I didn’t know this when I ordered and only found out when the owner told me he had regular options as well, I told him I wanted a vegan burrito but he did not have the courtesy to make it right for me.

By the looks of the menu this place looked great, but then came the 20 minute wait for a burger that’s mine, but he forgot my friends burger. The order he took before mine! Then just left us to eventually figure out he totally forgot my friends order.
The food is also mediocre. Can’t advise you enough to avoid this place.
